Entrant/Contact is the primary contact person for information and tickets. We can only work with one person per film.
Promotion: All publicity is handled through the UIFF office. We hope you will be available for media interviews if requested. You will be contacted by us or the media directly if the opportunity arises.
Attending the Festival: Filmmakers (director, producers, writers, etc.) are invited to attend the UIFF. There are opportunities to participate in a post-film Q&A. Please be sure to list your preferred contact information on the Submission Entry Form and whether you would be willing to participate in a Q&A.
Tickets: You may want to attend UIFF along with crew, family, and friends. Tickets are available for purchase at the start of each screening. Tickets are required.
Submissions should address controversial topics in a professional manner. Submissions cannot be sexually explicit, portray images that demean or are violent toward any person, gender, race, ethnic group or animals, or use extreme levels of profanity.
Communicating with UIFF: We ask that all communications with UIFF about your film be made through the designated entrant/contact. For general information about the festival, please go to www.uiff.info. For specific questions, please email our staff and please be sure to include the title of your film, your name, and entrant information.
Copyrights: For each submitted work, entrants are responsible for providing in writing all necessary rights and permission documents for the legal UIFF exhibition of their entry. For example: music, graphics, copyright materials. Usual protocol is to contact the publisher of copyright material for release permission.
